HealthLINE members attend SCC in College Station

Here are some shots of our members enjoying the conference. It was very well organized and packed with learning and networking opportunities. We will be hosting in two years, so plan to help!

HealthLINE Meets at Cook Children's

HealthLINE met at Cook Children's in Fort Worth on Thursday, October 12. New officers and our SCC scholarship winners were announced during the business meeting. The program called "The Magic of Pediatric Nursing" was one of our most interesting yet and included lots of super "hand"outs.






Then came the "Library Crawl" -- tours of several medical libraries located in the Hospital District of Fort Worth. First we visited the Schwarz Health Sciences Library at Cook.

We also toured the Harris Cancer Resource Library and Harris Methodist Information Resources.
The Cancer Resource Library was awarded the 2006 National Health Information Award for Texas from the U.S. National Commission on Libraries and Information Services.














Harris Methodist Information Resources serves a number of hospitals in the Metroplex.
