MLA Webcast

UT Southwestern Library invites you to attend the MLA Webcast, "Finding Work-Life Balance: Strategies for You and Your Institution," to be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., central time, at UT Southwestern Library, 5323 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas TX 75390, in the administrative conference room, E3.314, located on the middle floor of the library. If you plan to attend, please register at the UTSW website.

Visit MLANET to see the goals and objectives and to find more information. Handouts will be provided at the webcast. Participants will earn 2 MLA CE contact hours. You may want to arrive on campus a little early to park and walk over to the library. Visitor parking is located at Harry Hines & Inner Campus Dr/Butler St. It costs approximately $3.00. Copy Cataloging Class

The popular Copy Cataloging: A guide for beginners course is being offered LIVE and IN PERSON on March 18 here in Dallas,Texas. This will be held at the Amigos office (Beltline and Addison road – not too far from the Galleria for you shoppers and near all the wonderful Addison restaurants) from 9 AM to 4 PM CST. The course isgeared towards beginners or those who wish a refresher. If you have anyquestions, feel free to contact me.
