HealthLINE meets at the VA in Dallas, July 17, 2008

Officers, students, recent grads and long-time professional colleagues all enjoy the chance to visit at HealthLINE meetings.

Many thanks to our long-serving Listserv Coordinator as she retires and transfers the reins. During our meeting we voted to officially add a website to our communication tools. We liked the sample site the committee developed.

We learned all about the work of the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office.

After the meeting some of us toured the VA's Medical Library. On the way we saw a special piece of artwork designed by Shirley!

We also had a chance to meet some VA ladies who help us frequently!

A number of us travelled by public transit from all over the Metroplex since the VA is located right on the Blue Line. It was a great meeting! Thanks so much to the hostesses for all their work. We hope to see many members at upcoming CE events and at the Nov. 6 meeting at TWU in Denton.
