HealthLINE Travel Award

The HealthLINE Travel Award was established to defray the expenses an attendee would incur while attending the annual meeting of the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association. Two awards will be given: one (1) to a HealthLINE member whose membership dues have been paid in full by the application deadline, and one (1) to a UNT or TWU library science graduate student will be eligible to receive the award of $300 to defray meeting costs. Attendance at this meeting allows the recipient to network with colleagues, register for continuing education courses, hear guest speakers, attend the contributed paper sessions, and participate in the various social events that occur at each year's conference.


Use the appropriate form to apply for one of two travel awards of $300 to attend the annual meeting of the 2007 SCC/MLA Annual Meeting to be held in Albuquerque, NM on October 20-24, 2007.

**NOTE: the student application requires a library science instructor nomination form. Please ensure that an instructor fills out the Faculty Recommendation Form. The applications can be found on the HealthLINE Downloads Page.


All completed applications are due by August 31, 2007. The recipient selected for each award will be notified by September 7, 2007. Recipients will be asked to report on their SCC experience at the January 2008 meeting of HealthLINE.
